LIFE (and death) part 1

A friend recently asked me to write a post about life and death.

2 important people in his life have recently passed, and he was wondering if I have an energetic perspective to the whole death and dying thing.

Well of course I do, and I’m happy to discuss it!

The topic of death is tough for some people, though.

Especially those who have been traumatized by the loss of a loved one.

But what if we’ve been looking at dying all wrong this whole time?

What if physical death is not really an end, but an energetic shift that doesn’t have to be sooooo devastating?

What if... But before we start talking about that, let’s first talk about “life” and what it means to be IN our physical body... Your body is made up of trillions of cells.

Each cell is an individual being.

A “life” in and of itself.

Each cell is a self- contained unit, with a consciousness and a specific job to do.

Some are skin cells, some are heart cells, some blood, some bone ... All those trillions of individual cells work together to form a collective system that is your incredible “physical” body.

Your meat suit, if you will.

YOU are the energy that animates the meat suit.

A good way too think of it is like a car and driver:

Your body is the car and you are the driver.

You may ride around together for a while, but that doesn’t mean you and the car are one.

You are 2 separate things.

It’s the same thing with you and your physical body.

Your body is the car.

Your body obeys you.

YOU are the thoughts, the will, the wishes that the cells respond to.

YOU are the observer, the actor, the reactor.

YOU are the driver, your body is the vehicle.

It’s important to note this distinction, especially when contemplating physical death.

We’ll pick up this conversation next time!

In the meantime, take a little time to appreciate your body and the wonderful, obedient, masterpiece that it is!

It may just be a meat suit, but it’s YOUR meat suit!

Always with love, co
