Too good is no good

Balance: it is THE key to being healthy and happy.

By balanced I don’t mean perfect though.

I mean an easy relaxed flow between a little bad and a little good.

One of my favorite sayings is “too good is no good”


Many of us put pressure on ourselves to live life according to what we “should” do. “I should eat this, not that- I should go to the gym- I should act like this and be like that, I should, I should, I should... “


We think if we live life the “right” way, stay on the straight and narrow path, life will be perfect.

But it doesn’t work like that!

Energy never travels on the straight and narrow- and of course now we all know it’s all about energy!


Have you ever hung out with someone who is very strict about what they eat?... It’s a drag

They are so disciplined that they can not go with the flow.  There’s no fun or ease in the situation.

That person may be eating all the “right”things, but their energy is way off.


Energy wants to flow.

It sways this way and that- finding balance in the oscillation, not in a perfect straight line.


And that’s why being too good is just as off balance as being too bad.


You need a little of both:

Salad and french fries!

Wine and water!

Exercise and rest!

Work and play!


It’s about balance!
